Upbeat Love Songs

Hi! So I'm working on a mix and am looking for upbeat love songs, songs with a sentiment like I love you and want to be with you/We're going to be awesome together. Things with more of a top-of-the-pops type feel or that are a little ridiculous are a plus, but I'm flexible. Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Ooh, what a cool idea for a mix! I have some that might fit, let's see:
Turtles: Elenore (which is very very poppy, if a bit old-fashioned) Elenore, gee, I think you're swell, and you really suit me well...
MR BIG: Be with you (my favourite ridiculously bouncy love song)

Some things that came to mind:

The Corrs "Hopelessly Addicted"
Darren Hayes "What You Like"
Darren Hayes "The Tuning of Violins"

I tried to come up with more, but I'm rather under the weather today and my brain isn't cooperating. This is a very cool idea for a mix, though!

Try Little Bird Courage. Perhaps also Dance Anthem of the 80s? And I'm sure Paul Dempsey has one or two like that.

Oh, and if you don't mind a little touch of the bittersweet in the bits of the song that aren't about the love, My Favourite Chords and Adorable.

Oh, these are neat. Old Canes and Like...Alaska are both new to me; thanks for introducing me to them.

Like..Alaska are one of my favourite local bands but unfortunately no longer play together much, however if you like the singer she does good solo stuff. None of her first album is appropriate for this mix though, it's what she calls Sad Bastard Music. There's some happier new songs but I don't know if they're online xD
